CHAPTER 3: Lindsey Metselaar

I love sitting with my son during his dinner. We usually will work on a project together while he is eating. This helps him to finish his whole plate, which I hope never changes! A typical dinner for him is chicken breast, a veggie, and a grain like pasta or couscous.

Bath every night is a must!! Now that we have a newborn, my son is obsessed with being "helpful" to me when I bathe her. It's the cutest thing ever. He will hand me things and say "it's okay baby sister" the entire time.

My son Zachary is in a phase where he likes to pick out his big boy pajamas by himself. We're a big reading family so we never skip that either and he usually requests a minimum of 10 books before bed. Then, we sing Raffi's "baby beluga" and Leanne Womack's "I hope you dance" and put him to bed. I can't wait to do this with my daughter as she gets older too.

Our absolute favorite little room supply piece is our hamper! It's the cutest thing ever and looks like an apple with a perfect leaf on top. It surprisingly holds a lot of clothes, which is necessary considering my daughter's closet is already overflowing and she's not even 2.5 months old.
